Easter was a busy day with General Conference being on the same day.
We gave our kids some Easter themed books as well as some books that would help
us in trying to be like Jesus...
"Teeth are not for biting"
"Hands are not for hitting"
"If you're happy and you know it"

Playing outside in the circle is always a treat.
I spy with my little eye...something that goes 'CROAK'.
Actually, Duncan first spotted this toad in a totally random place under a few layers of concrete
by the garden. I don't know what made him think to look under there but he sure was
surprised to find this little/big guy.
I just wanted to take a picture of our boys to soak up their most peaceful moments.
Naptime activity:
Duncan and I took turns adding parts to our whiteboard picture.
Visiting an awesome plant nursery close to our home.
We came home with 20 strawberry starters, a peppermint plant, a parsley plant, a concord grape vine,
and a huge package of peat moss and vermiculite!
We're getting serious!
Aisles of attractive goodies!
Going on a family dinner date night where there was unlimited free ice cream afterwards (Dickies).
We sat outside and just watched the cars zoom past on the busy main road...the boys loved it.
I was able to get 8 lbs. of strawberries for $4 at a local fruit stand and put our dehydrator to work.
This is about 6 1/2 lbs. right here and it dried down to TWO quart mason jars.

Duncan got to go to his preschool friend Cohen's Ninja Turtle B-Day party.
It sounds like it was quite the Pinterest worthy event.
That's a sweet turtle shell made out of a green dollar store plastic veggie tray!
