We started February off with a bang when Charlie got a fever that wouldn't go away for 3 days and found out that he had an ear infection. We knew something was up when he slept like this all day long and when he did happen to be awake, he was oober irritable. Poor guy.

Happy 6th Birthday to Duncan!!!
I love that Duncan is silly, hard-working, a pretty good minder, and eager to understand and learn. He watches out for Charlie and they often play happily together. Duncan thinks everything Lucy does is "adorable" and let's me know when she's crying in her crib. When Bobby gets home from work, Duncan loves to hop in the car and drive around the circle a few times while sitting on Daddy's lap. He often asks me, "Mom, if you were me, what would you want to be when you grew up?" I love that he is inquisitive and remembers things even I can't remember (like how old I am...seriously :).
We sure love this boy!

Birthday Fun:
Charlie bought Duncan a birthday present from the Saturday Store, we had carrot cake cupcakes, and he got to wear a birthday crown at school.
Pals Forever
We all headed to Washington to visit the Cramer's.
Cody wanted to come to Boise and visit us for his birthday so Duncan made the same request in return when it was his birthday.
Lucy's first time to Washington
The kids enjoyed riding all around on their quiet street.

We've been doing piano lessons around here. I love to see the boys grow in their understanding of piano theory and music.

New flooring!
It took us a strait day and a half but we managed to get it finished, all the while keeping children fed and somehow occupied.

We did another Saturday store with the boys.
Our ward did a "Get to know you" activity and asked that each family bring in a poster about them.
We kept things simple and took our magnet board off the wall, pasted on some family pastimes and called it good.

Charlie was hanging out on the couch one morning when I hear,
"Mom! There's m&m's in the couch!" as he gobbles them up without a thought
"They taste good!"
Then he proceeds to pull another one out, along with a piece of lint and hair attached to it.
"You have to get the hair off" and then pops it in his mouth.
