As Many of you know, my sweet grandma (Mootz) passed away this past year. I just wanted to take a few minutes to remember the funnest, funniest woman to ever roam the earth. Some of my fondest memories of Mootz include water fights at bear lake, relief society arm jiggling (which whenever i did usually earned me a slap in the face) and Mootz just making up words or randomly swearing at one of us. The great thing about Mootz was that you could be yourself around her, and she was comfortable being herself around anyone, whether you were the plumber or the queen of England she was the same. As many of you know Mootz also had a flare for fortune telling and one of my most treasured documents is my fortune that was told by Mootz and recorded on a napkin in Mexico by my cousin Dave. I'd like to share that with you to give you an idea of the woman i'm talking about, keep in mind she did have dementia at this point.

To many of you this may seem funny or confusing and your right, but to me it's also beautiful because Mootzie telling a fortune is code for let me give you laugh and some real life advice all in one, that's the kind of special Mootz was to me. I love you Mootz, and in your own immortal words, i'll see you round when you bend over.
