We had this picture taken right before we left Utah. Duncan is 6 months old in this picture and quite the handsome little critter. In our new ward in Pittsburgh, we discovered that Duncan has a buddy that is the exact same age as him, to the day!

My sister took this picture at our little "going away" family party at the park. It was fun to see grandparents and family members before we took off.

How sweet is this sign?! I loved it. I want to be the policewoman that get's to fly the plane and swoop down to pull people over. :)

We went to the Golden Gate Bridge to hang out for a little bit. It was amazing. How they suspend a bridge over that much water and have as many cars cross it as they do is beyond me!

This is one of those times when you just have to see it in person to really get the full affect. I recommend seeing it.

Here's half of the Duncan fam hanging out at Pier 39. We really wanted to tour Alcatraz but they were booked up a week out. We experienced a bucket of doughnuts...quite good, but I specifically didn't post the picture of me eating them because it was embarrassing how fast I was helping down the doughnuts. I'm tempted to delete that photo but maybe it will become my motivational picture to lose weight...some day.

This is a picture going down Lombard Street in San Francisco. This is a famous street that is claimed to be the crookedest (most winding) street in the world. It has 8 sharp switchbacks that are pretty tight. Amazingly we made it down OK in the massive luxury van we were driving around.

Here we are posing at the entrance of Six Flags. We had a good time there despite the fact that 3 out of the 4 roller coasters malfunctioned or had problems right before it was our turn to get on or while we were on it. The Tony Hawk ride roller coaster experience was one of the more unusual rides. Half of us got on and were waiting for our cart to take off while the other half of the group was just stepping into their cart to buckle up. The park staff noticed after they had sat down, that the previous occupants had thrown up in the cart and not said anything when they got out. The entire ride was delayed for about 15 minutes while staff members disinfected and cleaned up licorice remains (we saw the culprits eating their treat before they got on). That was by far the worst of the ride delays but we still had a great time. My mom watched all three grandkids while we waited in line and rode rides.

Here's watching Shauka the whale perform. We sat in the front and center splash zone, but by the end, all three grandkids were as far away from the splash zone as possible while still being able to watch. That whale has gotten that splash thing down!

Splash Zone central! Watch out. Duncan actually only got upset when he first got wet, then he realized he was OK and stopped crying.
